Often the titles of my works are drawn from a repertoire of songs. Under the ocean reminds me of the Disney movie The Little Mermaid. It is in this feeling that I created this canvas which makes my peers talk about by its really thick structure like a sculpture creating an effect of sea rocks. But the inspiration to make this canvas comes at first, from the discovery of a dried and rigid seaweed at the edge of the Gulf of Mexico, more precisely on a beach in Clearwater. From that moment, I couldn't wait to return to the country and take out my brushes to create this seabed. Medium: acrylic and mixed media.
