During a walk in Duhamel, I took pictures of the fall and at a place where wood was chopped, I picked up pieces of bark. From there came the inspiration to create a canvas with the bark found and my photos taken. With the addition of dead leaves, sand and plaster texture I made this magnificent rustic canvas that I named 'Duhael Hardwoodsl'. This won me the public's crush during a vernissage at the Repentigny exhibition center in 2011. Acrylic and mixed media.
